Fully-Integrated LIFE: How Grace Works

“…For the grace of God has appeared,
bringing salvation to all men, instructing us…”
(Titus 2:11)

Salvation is all about God’s grace. Jesus is Grace personified.

When He appeared, He brought the eternal purposes of God’s grace to light. Then, as we responded to the Gospel, we stepped into the light of grace:

This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel…” (2 Tim. 1:9-10)

Too often we only think of grace as something that happened at the moment of salvation. From that angle, it can appear as though grace is limited the moment when God imputes His righteousness to us. But grace is dynamic. Grace is the working of God in us right now!

The Scripture says that “grace instructs us” – “grace teaches us!” Today as we worship together, we will be looking at how grace works. Let the song of Amazing Grace permeate your heart today:

It was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace my fears relieved
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

AND GRACE KEEPS WORKING….

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come
‘Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home!

Father,
Your grace brought my heart to life. Your grace gives me life.
Let Grace permeate all of my heart and give me the desire and power to do Your will.

In Jesus’ Name, by the working of Your grace, I seek You, Amen.
